Space is very nice and crap but we can only see it from afar so this is pretty places we can see, on earth, for ourselves. ;D

The only thing I ask is that you say where the picture is taken from.

Hadrian’s wall, Northumberland:

Northumberland again:

Bath, Somerset, UK:

The Cotswolds:

A hotel in Plymouth (uk):

My beloved Norfolk:

Fun fact for Norfolk. There is a part in the Norfolk Broads that is so flat they can’t do a hill start in the driving test. Norfolk is a pancake, it is flat as anything. The only time you go up hill in Norfolk is when you’re going upstairs in your house.

Norfolk again:

One of our lovely mountains, in Cumbria:

Just to show we have a sandy beach in this country, it took me an hour to find it and it was only discovered last year but we did! ;D lol

Good pictures.

I was always more of a fan of nature pictures, than buildings. Something about nature looks just so much better than anything we could ever build.

That is very true, although bath may be an exception to that. ;)  Give me a sec and I’ll upload a picture of my back garden. :D

You call that a mountain?  I'll show you a Mountain.  :P

This is Mt. Rainier taken on a hike I went on a couple of years ago.  This was taken from the bottom.

This is the view after climbing to the top of the ridge.

This is a picture with Seattle in front and Mt. Rainier in the back.

This is from the Olympic rain forest, which is a temperate rain forest located on Washington's peninsula.  We have mountains over there too.

This is one of the ferries with the Olympic mountains in the back ground.  Oh, and the water is Puget sound.  It's salt water but not really considered part of the Pacific.

This is a wheat field from Eastern Washington with a John Deere tractor.  My Grandfather farmed wheat until the Silo burned.  Then he sold John Deere.

This is Mt. Baker.

This is Mt. St. Helens.

This is our friendly Fremont troll in Seattle.  I know, it's not a landscape, but Fremont is the exception to every rule.

And, to keep people from moving here, I have to remind everyone that Seattle rains ALL the time. :D  This picture is from downtown Seattle, in the typical rain.

Our mountains are the perfect size. Just large enough to train on, so we can invade other people’s mountains, but not so big they make our army tired.

It’s like everything in this country. Our wild life isn’t exactly wild is it? You’re not going to be chased down by some rabbits are you? ;)

Talking of rain. Monday was the first time it has rained here in 6 weeks believe it or not. The ground was so hard and cracked it was like a puzzle, one crack in the front garden was an inch wide for 10 feet.

I don’t think it went more than 3 weeks without rain all summer. Lol.

This was the 2007 summer:
