American Comedians don’t normally go down well here because they take so fucking long to get to the joke and they have to explain every single it’s almost painful; but most of the time they struggle because they pause, waiting for people to laugh, in the wrong places.

It's all about timing.

I figure it's probably similar to personal space.  It's said that a frenchman can walk an englishman into a corner.  I thought it was through body odor, but apparently its due to them getting too close.

We're all Yanks.  Well, I'm not really.  Washington didn't come about until after the civil war and Mr. TS lives in the south, so he isn't a Yank either.  Let me know when you meet a "yank".  I hate the Yankee ball team.  I call them Mariners east.  Then again, baseball came from the most boring sport EVER, cricket.  I'll take basketball.   It's truly "american", poor black boys entertaining rich white boys. ::cackle::  Where did I put my broom?

You’re entertained by some blokes putting a ball into a basket for god sake. Where is the fun or skill in that? Cricket is the most complicated game ever, hence why most Americans don’t understand it. if you’re not brought up with it, you’ll never get it.
