These guys used to play parties when I was in high school.  Local boys...I live around the corner from the lead singer's parents.  The China town thing is the worst thing ever to happen to Seattle, the Wah Meng murders or (I spelled it wrong).  I've got this CD on right now and found them on line...

This is where your speed metal came from.  I watched it grow.  Seattle was "grunge".  I have ears, as George Martin wrote, "All you need is ears". ;)

Interesting idea given Speed started in the late-70’s; Thrash, it’s faster harder cousin, started in the early-80’s; Grudge, not my favourite but I’ll listen if it’s on the radio, started in the mid-80’s and Queensryche formed the same time as Metallica and Slayer in 81 with Sodom and Kreator (who should be in the Big four not crappy Anthrax) in 82.

I forgot MegaDave…sorry Megadeth, don’t know how I got that confused, in 83. I don’t mind some Queensryche though.  Listning to `Load` now, Pleasure to Kill next. ;D


Slayer's World painted blood is the one I'm looking forward to. ;D November 3rd cant come soon enough, it's not there best but it sounds better than Megadeth's new one...which is pretty poor, I like megadeth as well so that's not just Metallica hate.  :'(

I’m not a huge fan of Christ Illusion, it’s better than `god hates us all` and the one they released in 98…I can’t think of what it’s called now, it has the song `scrum` on it, el Diablo I think.

I don’t mind `eyes of the insane` though.

D.T. Queensryche is bad ass I seen them live at Hara Arena, Dayton Ohio. Way back in the day probably 20 yrs ago.....   :)   ;)    8)
