Aye but you'll be passed back and forth between so many people it's not worth it.

But, wouldn't that just show that you're willing to go through more trouble to get your point across?

They got back by the 16th but Yahoo marked it as spam for some reason, fucking Yahoo I knew there was a reason I didn't like it, but I've just read it and this is what it says:

Quote
Dear Mr Lashmar

Thank you for your email dated 8th December 2009 addressed to David Campbell Bannerman MEP.  Mr Campbell Bannerman has asked me to reply on his behalf.

Sadly, I can offer you no hope in regard to challenging the appointment of Baroness Ashton or Herman Van Rompuy.  These are fundamental aspects of the Lisbon Treaty, which our government has forced through against the wishes of the British electorate.

Attempting to challenge the legality of all this would require huge amounts of money and the Eurosceptic cause is, alas, always short of funds. Furthermore, legal challenges have been tried before and have rarely produced any substantive results.

In regard to your point about firearms, I am not aware of the EU taking control in this area but will make enquiries just to be sure.  One thing you can be sure of is that the EU will attempt to take control of it in the future!  Membership of the EU is all about power and who has it.  The European Commission has no respect for the democratically elected governments of the member states and, historically, has done all it can to undermine their authority.

The only long term solution to our difficulties with membership of the European Union is for Britain to withdraw.  This is the only way that we will preserve our democracy and ensure a decent future for our economy.

Best wishes,
