Question about `borrowing` Christmas trees?
« Reply #10 on: December 09, 2009, 05:32:37 PM »

Ah...in that case, you have my permission Lashy.  ;)

I was feeling a little concerned.  Many of the christmas tree sales here are small businesses, that would bother me.  This carbon tax will kill the local farmers.  And, unless people like me can continue to support our local organic farmers...ugg...

But....FUCK THE FASCIST CORPORATIONS!!!!

Borrow as many trees as you like.  Hell, take a few "living" ones and plant them around.  You do realize, Robin Hood is a folk hero here too? ;)

Just know, His mythology spread here to the US. ;)

That's why we still like Bonnie and Clyde and DB Cooper.  DB Cooper was a modern day Robin Hood.  He was a complete gentleman and only screwed the airlines, which in turn screwed the banksters.  ;D  I want to believe he survived.  8)

Have you ever made a holly wreath? Kim wants to give it ago (she saw the 25ft holly bushes/trees we have in the woods round here when we were coming home the other month) and I'm useless at things like this. It's going to end up like something the go has had hold of. lol.

No I haven't.  I used to bring home pine tree branches that had blown over after storms.  I'd use them for wall decorations and throw Christmas ornaments and ribbons on them.  But, I've never used holly.

Try searching on line.  I've found directions for some really obscure things in the past.  Somebody has got to have a blog about how they made a holly wreath.
