Well I don’t know about the start of your year but I think mine is carrying on the same as last year. “Bad things come in three” they say, well they’re fucking wrong.

Last November I ran out of money, completely, and Kim almost died of flu.

At the start of last December my laptop’s screen started to break, a vertical line appeared down the screen, and the problem has now worsen so there are two lines, about 1.5 inches apart, and things are starting to get stuck on the screen and they only disappear when the computer is put into stand-by. It’s annoying and inconvenient but the problem is if it get’s any worse I’ll need to buy a new screen, it’s basically cheaper to get a new laptop, and I really need the money for my Aeroplane ticket.

So depending on how you want to count that I’m up to three or four bad things…the next one blows them out of the water.

Kim’s father, wanker, has got a job and an accountant for the hospital in Jersey - the Channel Islands 250 odd mile away – and he starts on the first day of April. For the first time in my life I’m unsure what to do, and I don’t like it.

“Bad things happen to bad people”…what the fuck have I done to deserve this exactly? I haven’t been so terrible as to deserve this and I haven’t been good enough to deserve this either. I must have been Hitler AND Stalin in my last life…or worse…the pope (hey, I said I’m going to need to laugh my way through this).

So the general gist of it is this. Life sucks; hard.


When Kim had the flu I spent all my time with her and didn’t get sick, not so much as a sneeze, and I joked then that I don’t have enough luck to catch a cold…I think I’ve been proved right.

The world is seemingly a very dark place indeed.




Edit: This has been a truly shit day. Now I can see why people drink. lol. :(
