Spot on. It's the crap they put into them. Fags have a small amount of HCL (Hydrochloric acid) so you can only Imagen what that's doing to your lungs! it must be tearing them to shreds.

Simply for the fact that marijuana contains higher levels of resins and tars that are insoluble. Otherwise relatively harmless, except for your lung capacity and cardio vascular health. Which is why I'm quitting pot, at the end of this month I'm putting the blunt down..


But definitely grow your own, around here you can grow up to 10 plants for personal use I believe, been a while since I checked. And if you want to sell it you can, but you need a license. Laws vary with location though.

Ha ha. Man i should be glowing then. I've been smoking for over 30 years now. but i do have heart disease now. Got my third stint put in my heart in December. I am quiting soon. My cardio doctor gave me a perscription for Chantix. Have'nt filled it yet. They are killing me. Regnad will tell ya that. This last stint did work out. They put a new one inside of another one that was failing. Now my chest pain is worse all the time. Sucks. Doc wants me to quit before anything else.

I haven't even started on the hydrochloric acid, the different types of Cyanide (hydrogen Cyanide, which was used in the Nazi Gas Chambers, and Iodine cyanide are just two), arsenic...not forgetting the Heavy Metals like lead, mercury and beryllium (which makes it hard for oxygen to get into your blood, you basically suffocate I think).

Here's the chemistry kicking in here...

Taking one random chemical, which is Hydrogen Cyanide.

HCN, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, and Carbon bonded together in this element, so burning this chemical might produce something like this:

2HCN + 4 O2 ==> H2O + CO2 + CO + 2 NO2

Which means 2 HCN molecules will burn with 4 oxygen molecules to make one water molecule, a carbon dioxide and a carbon monoxide molecule, and 2 nitrogen dioxide molecules.

This is just the first equation I came up with that balanced out, it may not actually produce this exactly, but the point is that if you eat the cigarette you're poisoning yourself with hydrogen cyanide, but if you smoke it it will be reverted into other chemicals.

HCN + O2 ==> HCNO2

Yes that's why I asked my friend to look into that as well but he said it would take a long time and a lot of Fags. Bottom line is he's doing this for something personal and he doesn't want to get into trouble for mis-using shit, fair enough as well.

The problem is when it's heated up the chemicals will change, as SRO said, so if you eat a fag you may get one chemical but when you heat it up and smoke it you might get something else.

Quite honestly I don't think they have a clue what happens once you inhale the smoke.
