Aren't indians supposed to respect the earth?  I think they just work for the evil ones.

Indians are human, with all the weaknesses as well.

have talked to a few natives around here, that say the "band councils"are full of corruption, greed, and internal struggle.

some are better than others, but they hold a lot of powere here in saskatchewan, especially with gaming, and alcohol laws. They have the majority stakes,in all the casinos, etc.

the elders atre also the ones who decide on the "deals" they make with the land they "lease" out ,for mineral mining.

I know there are a lot of intelligent wise native peoples,I met them,
but they are the ones who tell me how corrupt they are as well,
how personally focused they can be....(plus I heard an administrator ,who had retired from our university, talk about many things ,(we used to have long talks about life at this lil pub)

He told me many things,  and he did mentionhoe the "natives" here play a big role....in..well ..lets just say there are some who have some very "interesting " parties,as he put it, and within the "university" elite circles, it was considered a great honor to be asked to attend one of these parties...
Well, lets just say....the sound of these parties reminded me of some scenes in "eyes wide shut"

Black rooms, where no one can see another????? wtf would any grown up do that????

True again.

But, I worked on a res.  They hated me because I'm white.  Who else is allowed to discriminate by race?  As far as I know, only Indians.

Just like our bloody politicians, they're corrupt!

There are good people, and then there are those who sell their souls to the evil ones.

OK, I screwed up the quotes, lol.  You're a Canadian?  Cool! I've met a lot of cool Canadians!

I live in Washington (the state NOT DC). ;)

When I was a kid I got a place to crash from a kid in North Van. :D  Many years ago.  But, I like Canuks. :D

I'm glads you hold no animosity towards canucks ;D..I must admit I hold a bit towards some of them... :-\ :-[ :o ::) >:(

Being canadian is like being american, you're just sort of born into the games being played, by the ones in some sort of earthly"control",and very intelliegnt at keeping that control, switching it up, the ones that do this have no allegience to any "country", its an entirely different agenda than that..I beleive ,which I am still trying to learn more about.

Put it this way DT..there's some canadians you wouldn't want to walk across the street from comfortably, and also ,there are so many americans who are so much like canadians at heart..and vice versa.....we really do get each other as "people" of the human race...and are deeply intertwined both in bloodlines, as well as "ideologies"

I'm happy about that ;D
