Trust me lash I see it work both ways,in the "abuse" definition, and its wrong either way,whether its physically ,emotionally,or mentally.

Especially mental abuse. Physical abuse is bad but your body can heal; I don't think you can ever heal mental abuse, especially if it was something that happened over a long time, because you hear it all the time

I agree that in many ways mental abuse is worse than physical.  In fact, my brother and his friend discussed this idea years ago.  They both came to the same conclusion.

However, I disagree that One cannot overcome mental abuse.  I understand the tendencies to seek out abusers, because that emotional up and down is what is familiar, however, it can be overcome by introspection and such.  I will agree that it takes longer to get over it, but, it can be done.

Maybe I'll tell you a few stories some day.

 prayer  has always helped me..especially in spiritual warfare....which is the root of abuses...


and I don't mean preying...I mean praying to the HOLY SPIRIT...

it is the most powerful weapon against evil....

because of the tremendous amount of LOVE ..that was bestowed upon it....
