Okay...this is going to be the first move of a major overhaul in the EU section. The existing "facts about the EU" is very, very messy, my fault, and I'm going to clean it up a bit. I'm going to create three threads; the first one will be for Videos (this one); the second one will be for news articles; the third will be a glossary (terms used, trust me that will be useful); and the fourth will be the main thread where you can find links for all the others. I will post all EU documents needed in the glossary thread. This system should also avoid doubling up on videos.


In this video Nigel Fararge talks about how the EU didn't read the Lisbon treaty and other things:

This video is about the Pro-Referendum groups and how the other party treats them. It also includes Jens Peter-Bond talking about how nobody has read the Lisbon treaty because it is unreadable; Fantastic name calling by the pro EU party members; Daniel Hannan likening the EU rule that gives the Chairman the power to throw MEP's out to the **"Ermachtigungsgesetz"** and getting kicked out of his group in the prosess because of it; it's finished by Nigel Fararge explaining the way the EU "changed the terminology without changing the legal substance":

Notice at 3:05 in that video (above) that he says "Europe's highest chamber" and he also calls for democratically elected members to be thrown out...and guess what...he got them! 


This is that video of Daniel Hannan; the Ermachtigungsgesetz (pronounced "emertz-zer-goons-gazette", the Germans pronounce G as Gu by the way) was the act that gave Hitler absolute rule by the way, it translates as the "enabling act". Basically what he said was that the law that was passed gives the Chairman similar powers to despotic leaders:
