DT just said this in this thread and it got me thinking:

They want to learn more...to a point...then they get overwhelmed again.  Just talk, then shut up when they can't handle more.  People like us, on sites like this, are almost numb to it.  It is the "normal" ones we have to help.  I don't know what your wakeup call was.  But, I remember when it hit me, it was overwhelming.  I though, "oh shit!  It's real!"...Most people can't deal with that kind of wake up call.

I actually can't remember my wakeup call to what's really going on. It was either when I was watching "lose change" or when I was watching "Alex Jones: Terror Storm". It was one of the first conspiracy films I watched and things just started to fit together nicely.

What was your wakeup call? When was the first time you realised UFO's or Conspiracies were real?

For me, I had several "wake up calls".

For me, the first one I remember was that there was no Santa.  It may sound silly, but to me, I truly believed it.   So here I'm supposed to believe people who lie?  Then, it came with religion...and then I'm like Watership Down.
