Back and where I've been
« on: December 22, 2010, 12:56:41 PM »

I've been over-whelmed as fuck basically. The land, which is now seriously behind; new girlfriend (of sorts), who's actually been a really big help in someways; and my family life just got to me and burned me out basically. I was watching a video one day and the stupidity of the people in it just got to me burned me out, it was a video about GM crops and vaccinations that showed on BBC a few weeks before. It was the final straw and it only broke me because I was extremely tired and frustrated, at the time I was only getting 3 hours of sleep and that went on for about two weeks, ontop of that the land got further and further behind and just became impossible.

Anyway. The other week I watched a Love Police video (thanks to DT for introducing me to them lol) and got a bit of that fire back, another week went by and I watched pretty much every love police video. lol. Then about two weeks ago I went up to Lancaster for a week to meet someone and to get away for all the shit back home for a week and she said something which I disagreed with and we got into a slight disagreement over it but it was to give me my drive back properly. The last week, since I've got home, I've re-watching the Love Police videos and looking into some of the things they've said.

The thing we disagreed on is a pretty big news event here at the moment, the student fee rises, and my stance is simple...university (although its only indoctrination) should be for the top 15% of people to create competition for places, thereby improving every-bodies education standards, and then only the top 25% should be able to pass uni. It was the first time in ages I've debated something worthwhile with someone and I loved it.

I totally understand Lashy, we all need a vacation once in a while.  It's good to take a break from reading "truth".

I'm glad you enjoy the Love Police.  They bring comedy and love to "truthing".  I hope you saw Charlie's video when he was in Canada on the train.  I think that one is pretty fun.

So, how's you're "global warming" white stuff doing Lashy?  :P

We got a bit of white, it looks like hail.  For the last couple of days it hasn't been warm enough to melt.  Then again, I'm sure the chemtrails aren't helping much.

Hasn't it been a couple/few hundred years since the last time y'all felt this "global warming"?

The radio was talking about snowblowers.  Heh, what a laugh...in Seattle???  Are you kidding?  We have hills, yes, but snow?  When it snows here, the city shuts down, because we have hills.  The city got rid of their sanders years ago.

When are you coming down to Canada, eh?  (I can speak American AND Canadian ;) )

The snow is gone, global warming got rid of it. :( I want to know, why if the world is warming up hasn't Holland and/or Norfolk sank yet? lol. They're both just above sea level yet they're still there. :P

At least 5 years now. I'm going to try to get in as a farmer, which is fine because thats what I'm doing now and thats what I plan on doing then. lol. Its annoying that these "governments" try to tell us where we can and can't live, I don't remember ever signing a contract saying I had to live in this country and I couldn't live anywhere else.  :-\

I still have some frozen/thawed/frozen global warming on my deck and the roofs around my neighborhood.

Didn't you want to be a college student in Canada?  What happened to that one?

May I suggest, you live on a small island with a lot of people.  Not as many people as Japan or Taiwan, because y'all have many ex-pats.  However, it isn't like that here or in Canada.  Most of Canada is very cold and hard to live in, but the States are different.

Maybe try saving some money while the federal reserve notes crash, then buy your way into cheap land here?  Just a thought.
