Morals and Government
« on: December 17, 2011, 06:23:26 PM »

The last few months I have really gone on a crash course diet of introspection, logical and critical thinking. I have been listening to a lot of Stefan Molnxue (sp? Just look up "free domain radio") and his philosophical podcasts trying to think clearer. I faced the fact that we're never, ever, ever going to make people wake up and see evil with facts for the very simple fact that they are openly available anyway. Within watching 3 or 4 of his videos I was a full on anarchist and I realized you are never going to move many people politcal views with facts alone because facts are cold and are so available that if someone is going to change their views with facts alone, they'd probably be the sort of people who change their views anyway.

All being an anarchist means is that you do not support the use of violence or force against someone else. We live in an incredibly violent system. If we disagree with eachother, we can accept it and move on...we wont hold a gun to someones head and make them change their views, unlike the government. The basic principle is that if I disagree with you, I will never use force on you to make you agree with me but I will also allow you to ACT upon your view, because at the end of the day where is the point in disagreeing with someone if you're not allowed to act on it right?

A prime example of this is the war in Iraq. I was too young at the time but I disagreed with it anyway...basically if I disagree with the war, why should I be forced to pay for it? I am disagreeing with the government and the government grants me that right (albeit condemns it) BUT I am not free to act upon my view because I am still made to pay for it. Its almost psychopathic behavior where they say you can disagree with anything they say...but it makes no odds because when it comes to money, you're going to hand it over and thats final. If you dont, you get a gun put to your head, you get thrown in the back of a van and spend the next few years looking though bars.

I have come to this very logical stand point not by the way of facts, pressure or anything else. I have come to it with clear and logical reasoning. I stripped away all the facts, every "norm" of society, every shred of history, use plain English and just looked at it on a very simply, human scale. When you stop using words like arrest, police, culture, uniforms, justice though law and all that rubbish and just say it as it is, which is basically the people using force against eachother, then it just collapses around you. It means nothing once you take those words away because you take away the padding and you make it human.

People do NOT like seeing the human cost of war (its why you never see dead bodies littering city streets on the news) because then it becomes real. If they see the cost of war, they turn against it very, very quickly. Its exactly the same as the state; when you say it as it is and drop the crap, it becomes real..."do you support the use of violence against me for disagreeing with you".

Morals are such an important thing. When we get them wrong, people die and it becomes acceptable. Just look at any conflict, Hitler, Communism, the Ottomans, the British Empire and any revolution or war thoughout history...it has always been because its been morally acceptable to subject people to laws against their will and use violence against them if they try to disagree.

People say "society is broken" and I say "no it isnt". Society isnt broken, society is exactly what it is designed to be because it is acceptable to use force on those who disagree with the minority in power.

Edit: Cause no harm, cause no loss
