  I think I'll stick to watching the first one 4 times over lash  (winks)

  I love that one..I willwatch it a 4 th time..I missed some stuff  lol...

  the others are good..,and I like the violins in the last clip....gives them some "class"..lol

kidding...just not a big heavy meatal ot thrash fan I guess..

I think I'm a lil too old to develop an appreciation for it...

but thank you for explaining the lyrics.....

that was very poetic insight,and its good to understand what the intentions of words mean in a song..

regnad, its a great show to music isn't it....

as lash would say absolutely BRILLIANT...

the other stuff is ok too...but I have certain aquired music tastes,that just don't get into the heavier metal and thrash stuff...sorry guys...too much of an old dog...

I like what I like ,and it does cover a lot of genres of music...

"Holier than though", could be interpretated ,a lot of different ways.

 But I can listen to it,and enjoy it on a scale of over 50 out of 100.

Some I won't listen to for more than 10 secs,and they get no more air time in my world... ;D

Metallica  - The God That Failed

Now if you look at the title alone it's a song that's bashing god...BUT...when you understand the story you see that it's not talking about god or anything in-particular it's just commenting on any idea that has let you down.

Jame's mother died when he was 16 because of cancer and she didn't get help from a doctor (good thing in my mind) but she left it up to god (her belief/idea) and it failed. If you read the lyrics closely you'll see that but if you read the title along or take the lyrics at face value then you miss that.

I like to understand songs; there are very few songs I listen to that I don't care about the meaning behind them (I don't listen to bollock songs though).
