Ah yes, the Lilith mythology.

As the story goes, that I've read, Lilith liked to be on top during sex (come on, what guy doesn't like that ;))  Apparently, Adam didn't like that.  So he banished her and she turned into some reptilian monster that gave birth to many children.  Then Adam got a subservient "wife" called Eve.  I guess it cost him a rib.  :D

I dunno, maybe there is more to mythology than meets the eye?
